We strictly only use SABS ISO 9002 quality approved paint manufacturers and suppliers. Our workmanship is to SABS ISO 9001 standards. All projects are filtered through a strict final inspection before signed off.

COATING & PAINTING

All projects need to be assessed to what you as a client require. We can offer you professional assistance on your colour themes, but still important, leaving you with the final choice.

Preparation is very important because this will be your foundation to a successful project. We use the correct cleaning methods, high pressure if necessary. Effective filling and plastering compounds will be used to give the correct finish.

We use PLASCON and DULUX products which will be applied according to specifications.

DAMPPROOFING

Is it rising damp…or is it descending or penetrating damp?
It might be a combination.. it might even be that the moisture is penetrating sideways (lateral). In the case of rising damp Blueredgreen recommend the use of a chemical injection system to install a new DPC. Other than the costly and risky process of re-installing a physical DPC, chemical injection is the only method of DPC re -instatement that has stood the test of time. That is just one solution...our staff are equipped with excellent knowledge on ALL damp problems and are trained to help you with expert damp-proofing solutions. 

WATERPROOFING

We evaluate the existing system and decide whether to remove, renew or rejuvinate the existing system. We do all waterproofing systems and use darachem products.

Systems mainly used:

• Thermoflex waterproofing system ("Torch-on")
• Bitumen emulsion reinforced with polyester membrane
• Acrylic waterproofing systems
• Cementitous reinforced system

In building construction a structure needs waterproofing since concrete itself will not be watertight on its own (but note concrete is easily waterproofed with additives). The conventional system of waterproofing involves 'membranes'. This relies on the application of one or more layers of membrane (available in various materials: e.g., bitumen, silicate, PVC, EPDM etc.) that act as a barrier between the water and the building structure, preventing the passage of water.
